HK Trip 2015 (Day 4)

July 28th, 2015

On my 4th day in Hong Kong, we went to Ocean Park. It took 15-20 mins (HKD 57) from our hotel in Causeway Bay by taxi. Since we are a group of 10 people, it's cheaper and faster to go there by taxi than citybus. The ticket price for Ocean Park are HKD 345 for adult and HKD 173 for child.

We arrived at 10 am, and it was scorching hot.

The Park is divided into 2 parts, The Waterfront and The Summit. To avoid the crowds we planned to go to The Summit first, since we entered from The Waterfront, we need to take the cable car to The Summit. We went straight to the Hair Raiser (roller coaster ride), and since I am a chicken to that kind of rides, I just waiting around while taking pictures :p

Then we went to the Polar Adventure, THIS is my kind of attraction! lol, since it was cool  and no need to queue (okay, it was crowded inside but NO queue to enter). We saw penguins, lots of it. Two pacific walruses, seals and sea lions. But I didn't see any arctic foxes #sobs

It was lunch time so we headed to Clown's Corner.

Criss Cut Fries (HKD 35)
Gammon Ham, Cheese and Mushroom Sandwich (HKD 75)
Signature Hot Dog with Meat Sauce (HKD 75)
I had sandwich, and the taste was not so bad, just not as tasty as their hot dog. So I recommend their hot dog and criss cut fries. So good! The fries were so tasty, and still warm and crispy.

 Other attractions:

Ocean Park Tower
Whirly Bird
The Flash
The Rapids
Ocean Theater

Then we went to Ocean Express Summit Station and took the train to The Waterfront. We went to the Grand Aquarium, Giant Panda Adventure and Goldfish Treasure.

Giant Panda (Le Le I supposed ?)
Red Panda (sooo cuteee ><)

We didn't stay to watch Symbio, because we were afraid that we won't get taxi. :p

We went to IKEA which located in the basement of our hotel, bought their Swedish Meatballs and went back to our room.

Swedish Meatballs (HKD 9 / 5pcs)
Got hungry, so we went back out, and with the help of google maps we found our way to Ichiran. We waited for an hour to get our seats.

Ramen (HKD 89) + Half Boiled Salted Egg (HKD 14)
I loved their place and it's cool to have individual seating booths like that, especially if you went there alone. But not so cool if you went there in group. The ramen was good of course, but not that good that make me crave for it.. And it was kinda expensive :p  At the end we were too full, too tired and too sleepy, so we headed back to the hotel. :'(
