Korea Spring Trip 2016 (Day 2)

14 April'16

Second day! We woke up at 9, went upstairs for breakfast, never stayed at Hostel/Guesthouse before, but I think their breakfast spread was good for a hostel. They got bread, egg, cheese, ham, jams, condiments, 4 different kinds of cereals, milk, juices, coffee, tea, fruits, soup and yoghurt drink.

Korea Spring Trip 2016 (Day 1) + Useful Apps

Thursday, 13 April '16

First day in Korea! So excited! HAHA. Actually, I've already written a Korea itinerary back in 2013 but just got the chance to go there in 2016 >< I was so into Kpop back then and also their food, culture and language. I forgot when, but one day I found this website that teach you Korean language called TTMIK or Talk To Me In Korean, they teach you from the beginning (how to read and write Hangeul) and if you want to learn further they have LOTS of lessons available. It has been 2 years since I last learned the language and as far as I remember I've only read their Level 1 and Level 2, and I've already forgot most of it now (T_T). But if you are planning to go alone without a tour in Korea, then I recommend you to learn how to read Hangeul, especially if you want to get around by bus or train, it is really useful :)

There are several applications that I downloaded prior to my trip,

Korea Spring Trip 2016 Itinerary (15D14N)

It has been 2 weeks since I came back from my trip to Korea, yet.. still feel excited about it :p

There are a lot of ups and downs during the trip. Got lost a few times, got out at a wrong stops and stations many times, but I still think it is worth it to roam the country independently rather than join a tour. Of course there are a few times during the trip that I think I should just join a tour, especially when I was completely lost and couldn't figure out how to read the map. But, eventually we could reach our destination and learnt from it.

Soo.. Here's my recap about my 15 days trip in Korea :)

Okay, not really 15 days, since my flight arrived at 10.30pm on the 13th and the flight home was at 00.30am on the 27th. So, technically only had 14 days >< For detailed review, will post it later :)

13-16 April: Seoul
16-18 April: Busan
18-20 April: Jeju
20-26 April: Seoul

And I did book all the accommodations, flights and train in advance.

HK Trip 2015 (Day 6)

July 30th, 2015

Finally! My last post of HK Trip 2015 T_T Took almost a year to finish it ><
After this post, I'm going to write about my trip to Korea. Don't know when I will finish it, but hopefully soon!

My last day in HK started with having breakfast in hotel, then we walked to Via Tokyo in Causeway Bay to have ice cream. The place was small and at the time it was quite packed, fortunately when we arrived there was a group of people who were leaving, so we got a table.
