Finally! My last post of HK Trip 2015 T_T Took almost a year to finish it ><
After this post, I'm going to write about my trip to Korea. Don't know when I will finish it, but hopefully soon!
My last day in HK started with having breakfast in hotel, then we walked to Via Tokyo in Causeway Bay to have ice cream. The place was small and at the time it was quite packed, fortunately when we arrived there was a group of people who were leaving, so we got a table.

HK Trip 2015 (Day 5)
July 29th, 2015
It's my 5th day and it was my last full day in HK, so I tried to squeeze in as many places as possible from my list.
So.. We started the day by eating breakfast at the hotel, then off we go to explore Hong Kong! :)
First thing first: Shopping! I've been reading so many blogs about trips to HK, and there are quite a lot of people who went to Argyle Centre to shop, besides, I want to try the famous cold noodle which located in New Town Mall (connected with Argyle Centre). I was there around 12pm, but there were some stores that still closed, so I think it's better to go there by 2pm. If you want to shop in here don't forget to haggle! But, most of the stores I went have price tags so it's a fixed price, but you can try ;) There are a lot of stores that sell the same clothes with different prices, so find the cheapest one! ;P

HK Trip 2015 (Day 4)
July 28th, 2015
On my 4th day in Hong Kong, we went to Ocean Park. It took 15-20 mins (HKD 57) from our hotel in Causeway Bay by taxi. Since we are a group of 10 people, it's cheaper and faster to go there by taxi than citybus. The ticket price for Ocean Park are HKD 345 for adult and HKD 173 for child.
We arrived at 10 am, and it was scorching hot.

HK Trip 2015 (Day 1)
July 25th, 2015
Two months ago I went to HK to attend my cousin's wedding. The date is after my final exam, so it was a perfect time to celebrateand vacation! After searching and browsing for a few months, I found a few places to eat and shop.
And for you who like me ;) who need a prepaid sim card with data plan, you can buy it at 1010 store at the airport. From what I read, one2free seems like a good deal. I plan to buy the 5 days pass (HKD 88) but at the end I used other sim card because my uncle had already bought it.
And if you plan to use a lot of MTR or bus, you can also buy octopus card at the airport. Just buy the standard octopus card for HKD 150 (deposit HKD 50, stored value HKD 100), and at the end of your trip you can exchange your card to get your deposit and the remaining value back.
Get to the city? How? I think the easiest way is to use a cab. But you can also use Airport Express, for single journey to/from airport:

HK Day 8 - Venchi, Rice Paper, FoodRepublic, Gundam Docks
8 August '13
iSquare
We had breakfast at Jiang Shun Fresh Water Seafood at iSquare. The view was pretty, but the food was just ok.
HARBOUR CITY (VENCHI & RICE PAPER)
We went to Harbour City again to buy Eric Kayser breads. Then we saw this store, and bought some ice creams.
After walking around for a bit, we went to Rice Paper (my 1st visit, click here)
We chose the dish above from the set menu, the set menu includes 1 drink (fresh lime soda/hot lime ginger honey/soft drink). If I'm not mistaken, the set menu only available until 4pm. The Rice Noodle was tasteless and oily.
The soup is from a beef broth, and there are shallot, coriander, spring onion, bean sprout, thai basil and crispy garlic inside. It was salty and a little bit sour.
Cooked w/ garlic, galangal, lemongrass, shallot, lime, onion, peanut, chili and dried shrimp sauce. The Pad Thai was tasty! Like this :)
We chose pork satays, the pork was a bit bland, but quite tender.
The coconut jelly made from coconut water, served chilled and tastes sweet
The mango was sour, and the portion was quite small.

SILVERCORD
Then we went to H&M at Silvercord, and ended up at foodrepublic.
Hehe I took this pic when we almost done eating. The system is similar with Yong Tau Fu, you choose the ingredients and the soup base.. The soup was really spicy and a little bit oily, but I like it hehe.
The steamed custard was smooth, most of them didn't like it because it has a strong ginger flavour. The mango pudding was quite good.
Gundam Docks at Times Square:
At night we went to Forever 21 at Causeway Bay:

HK Day 7 - Tim Ho Wan, Toast Box, Asiania Restaurant
7 August '13
TIM HO WAN (REVISIT)
On my 7th day in HK, we ate lunch at Tim Ho Wan again :) To look at my 1st visit, click here.
The fish and pork was tasty and a little bit chewy.
The vermicelli was thin and smooth, I like their sauce.
Didn't really like the taste of the Steamed Dumpling in Chiu Chow Style, the texture was a bit chewy from the skin, and crunchy from the water chestnuts inside. The Pan Fried Turnip Cake was soft and bland. The Steamed Beancurd tastes sweet and a little bit salty, quite nice. There are cabbage, carrot and meat inside.
I love this! Crispy outside, soft inside. Don't forget to eat the spring roll with their vinegar sauce, really yummy!
It's fried glutinous rice filled with meat. The skin was crispy, chewy and a little bit sweet, while the meat was tasty. One of my favorites!
And don't forget to order the baked bun!
It was good, not too sweet. There are ginger and angkak/red yeast rice inside.
The double boiled egg white was sweet, smooth and light, can taste the ginger and milk, served hot.
LANGHAM PLACE & TIMES SQUARE (KASHO CHAYA, AZUKIYA, TOAST BOX)
And finally today we can go shopping! hehe. We went to H&M at Langham Place. After that we went to Times Square and bought Hokkaido Ice Cream and Obanyaki.
We bought the Uji Matcha Softcream Cup Waffle Combo (HKD 40) w/ japanese mochi and hokkaido red bean. I love the softcream, smooth, thick and creamy with a strong matcha flavour.
We also bought Matcha Custard Obanyaki (HKD 15), obanyaki is made with japanese flour and egg to give a soft texture. It's my first time to eat an Obanyaki, and I like it! The Obanyaki was chewy, and also has a strong matcha flavour and a little bit bitter.

Then we went to Toast Box to eat (and sit).
The set menu served with Nanyang Coffee/Tea. I didn't like the Mee Siam, but I really like their Nasi Lemak, their coconut rice was so fragrant and tasty, and you just can't go wrong with luncheon meat! Simply tasty :9
ASIANIA RESTAURANT
Didn't eat much because I'm already full after eating at Toast Box. hehe. Tastes mediocre for me.
