Korea Spring Trip 2016 (Day 12)

Today we planned to go shopping, but first we need to eat first. We went to Myeongdong because there are a lot of places to eat and shop, to go there we walked to Sookmyung Station then took the subway to Myeongdong (KRW1,250). At Myeongdong Station we saw a stall selling Deli Manjoo, so we bought that for KRW3,000.

At the underground level of the station there are a lot of shops that sell clothes, shoes and other stuff. The clothes were also cheap as well! I think I bought more clothes here than in Dongdaemun X)

So we get out of the station and starts looking for food, at first we were contemplating between Myeongdong Gyoja and Yoogane, but we ended up choosing Myeongdong Gyoja, which is a really good decision. But before we went there, we strolled around the underground level of the station, there are a lot of shops that sell clothes, shoes and others. There was a queue at that time, but it moves quite fast, we only ended up queueing for 15 mins, worth the queue I said because their noodle and dumpling are sooooo good! Their knife cut noodle / kalguksu (KRW8,000) was really chewy and comforting, and their dumpling/mandu (KRW10,000) was really good as well

We then strolling around Myeongdong and bought few cosmetics. After roaming around for 2 and a half hours, we went to Sulbing to rest and had a dessert. We bought the Blueberry Cheese (KRW9,500).

Then we continued to shop again but this time for food hahaha. There are a lot of stalls that sell many kind of snacks, all looks so tempting, but unfortunately we only tried a few.

We tried deep fried crab, I don't know what kind of crab is it, but I don't think it's a soft shell crab because the shell was pretty hard so it was kinda hard to chew their legs. But it tastes pretty good and quite addicting. We also tried the sausages skewer (KRW3,000), it really looks tempting but it was just ok, better with the sauce. What I like the most was the Gyeran Bbang/Egg Bread (KRW2,000), not too sweet. And last thing we bought is hotteok (KRW1,500), just ok, I like Ssiat Hotteok more than this.

We then went back to our lodging, put our stuff and went out again to Dongdaemun. We went to see Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and shopped at Hello APM and Migliore.

Our Lodging is located in this building, but I it closed down already

I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was in a rush to get on the last train, and sometimes when I want take pictures the owner said no hehe.
