Sydney 2015 (Day 8)

Arrived in Sydney last night, super tired so we woke up at noon. Went to the supermarket to bought groceries for our super late lunch. Then I saw korean instant 5 grains rice ($1.8) on the shelf, told myself that I have to buy it (and I'm glad I did). We had steak, grilled halloumi, sweet corn and spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.



Super full ... and sleepy. So I slept for a bit and my sister woke me up and told me to get ready for dinner. Like, what?! I'm still full!

We had dinner at Spice I Am.



Pad Thai (stir fried rice noodle with egg, bean sprout, crushed peanuts, garlic chives and tofu) - (chicken/beef/pork/vegetable - $18) (prawn/seafood - $21)
Pad Prik King (s) - stir fried curry paste with green beans, sliced kaffir lime leaves and pork rind ($18)

The Pad Thai was mediocre. And we ordered the wrong menu, instead of Prik King Crispy Pork we ordered their Pad Prik King (pork) so confusing. My sister raved about the crispy pork, because she didn't like pork belly but she could eat the one in here. The Prik King was quite spicy and addicting, good to eat with hot rice. (Steam Rice: $3, Plastic Container / Box for take away: $0.5)

And with 3-5 minutes walk we arrived at Messina Dessert Bar.







Top Choc Top - $9.9
Waffle cone filled with swirls of blood peach sorbet & toasted macadamia gelato, sable breton, honey marshmallow, peruvian chocolate & dipped in chocolate. Love it! I was too full by the time I left Spice I Am, but my sister "insist" that I must try the ice cream here, since this store is different from other Messina stores. The blood peach sorbet was so refreshing! I was too full and the chocolate coat could make it a little bit overwhelming, but the taginess of the blood peach sorbet helps.
