Melbourne 2015 (Day 5)

Hello, Melbourne!

Flew here with Jetstar with the earliest flight at 6am.We then purchased round trip SkyBus tickets from their booth at  T3 (Tullamarine). It was after we spent almost 1 hour of searching and bickering to decide between SkyBus and the other airport shuttle. It cost $30 for round trip. Our experience with SkyBus was mostly good, we got dropped off in front of our hotel safely and we also got picked up from the hotel on time, it was all good, except the rude staff at the booth at the Southern Cross Station.

We stayed for 2 nights at Rendezvous Hotel, it's near the famous Flinders Street Railway Station and there's a tram stop in front of the hotel, where you can also take the free circle tram (35) from this stop. Great location, nice and helpful staffs and the room was quite good. Recommended!

Since we arrived early, our room wasn't ready yet. So we just leave our luggage at the concierge and went out to have brunch. We also topped up the MyKi card for $20 each, enough for 3 days and 2 nights we stayed in Melbourne.

It was Saturday and Valentine's Day! We went to The Grounds of Alexandria to see their weekend market. There were many stalls selling various things, from pastries, breads, donuts, drinks, ice creams, nuts and others. The place was so packed, so it was kind of hard to take pictures.

Woke up late and it was already 1.30pm when we arrived at Devon on Danks for our brunch lunch.

Didn't do much on the second day. Woke up in the morning, went to the supermarket and since we didn't have much time left until the movie started, we just bought smoothies at Top Juice for our breakfast. Bought Blubana and Summer Set, like their Summer Set better, tasted so good and refreshing, and I thought that the small one must be not enough for me, but actually it was quite filling.
